- On the way back we were driven off the motorway by the french police, taken to a warehouse in the middle of nowhere, and some of us were taken to some random room for an hour of questioning o_O

Don’t leave us all in suspenders; what was the questioning all about? As they let you go, they were obviously convinced of your innocence, so did they appologise for delaying you? Did they question you in English, Dutch, or French? Will you be sending them a bill for your time and the petrol used in driving to and from the warehouse? Have you asked a lawyer if your human rights have been violated – unwaranted detention, being prevented from having free movement through the EU etc, etc?
